Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

At Steele Recreation, your satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that sometimes plans change or a product may not be the right fit. Below is our policy for returns, refunds, and cancellations for vehicles, power equipment, parts, accessories, apparel, and gear. 
 
1. Vehicle Returns & Cancellations

New Vehicle Sales:  *

All new vehicle sales are final once the vehicle has been warranty registered with manufacturer or customer takes possession.

  • Cancellations prior to delivery may be granted but would be subject to restocking or an administrative fee (up to 10%).
  • Refunds on canceled vehicle orders shall be processed within 10 business days.

Used Vehicle Sales:  *

Used vehicle purchases are considered final at the time of sale.

  • Returns may be considered within 72 hours of purchase, on a case by case basis, if the vehicle is unused and in the same condition it was in at the time of purchase. A restocking fee may apply. 

Vehicle Deposits:  *

Deposits on new or special-order vehicles are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • If financing is declined and alternate payment methods are not available, deposits shall be returned to the customer.

2. Honda Power Equipment and Marine Engines

This includes generators, lawn mowers, snowblowers, pumps, trimmers, and other Honda-branded power equipment, outboard motors, and marine engines.

Sales & Returns:  *

All Honda Power Equipment and outboard/marine engine sales are considered final once the item has been used or has been warranty registered with Honda Canada by the Dealer.

3. Parts & Accessories

Return Eligibility:  *

Returns accepted within 14 days of purchase with the original receipt.

  • Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
  • Electrical components, special orders, and clearance items are non-returnable.

Refund Process:  *

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of return approval. 

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a shipping error or a defective product.

4. Apparel & Gear  *

Returns are accepted within 14 days for unused apparel and gear in original condition with tags attached.

  • Helmets are not returnable if they have been worn, protective film removed, tags removed, or signs of damage observed.
  • Exchanges may be offered based on availability. 

5. Special Orders  *

Special-order items (including aftermarket parts or non-stock models) are non-cancellable and non-refundable once ordered.

  • A deposit will be required at the time of order, which is also non-refundable.
